Armenian State Symphony Orchestra

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra is a leading symphony orchestra inArmenia, founded by Armenian conductor Sergey Smbatyan in 2006, as the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia. It became the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in 2018. In May 2024, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of famous French-Armenian singer, artist and composer Charles Aznavour, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra released a special album "Aznavouriana" together with French-Belgian cellist Camille Thomas under the Deutsche Grammophon label which presents the instrumental arrangements of Aznavour's pieces for cello and orchestra. The music producer and sound engineer was award-winning producer Christopher Alder.
